Job Summary:

We are seeking a System Analyst with proven experience in analyzing complex business processes, designing end-to-end system solutions, and driving systems integration across heterogeneous platforms. The ideal candidate is not only technically proficient but also capable of translating business objectives into precise technical specifications with minimal ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and model existing systems and processes, identifying redundancies, bottlenecks, and scalability issues.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across departments to extract non-obvious system needs and constraints.
  • Design system architecture diagrams and data flow models using tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, or Draw.io.
  • Define functional specifications and detailed use cases that are implementation-ready for engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and system reliability.
  • Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes and provide clear recommendations based on cost, complexity, and technical fit.
  • Develop and maintain traceability matrices to ensure coverage from requirement to deployment.
  • Serve as a liaison during user acceptance testing, including test plan validation and defect triage.
  • Evaluate third-party solutions and APIs for technical compatibility and data integrity.
  • Ensure documentation is version-controlled, audit-ready, and consistently updated throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a System Analyst in mid-to-large scale enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of domain-driven design, RESTful architecture, and data normalization practices.
  • Experience with SQL (complex joins, stored procedures, performance tuning) and at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Demonstrated experience in documenting integration patterns across ERP, CRM, and custom in-house platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including participation in sprint planning and backlog grooming.
  • Proficient in UML, BPMN, and writing system interface specs with attention to API authentication, data structure, and failure handling.
  • Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and understanding of how infrastructure decisions impact system behavior.
  • Ability to clearly distinguish between functional and technical requirements in stakeholder communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing business cases and executive-level briefings.
