About the Role
We’re looking for a backend-focused Software Engineer to help build and scale the core services powering our SaaS platform, which supports over 10 million daily active users. You’ll work on designing distributed systems, optimizing low-latency data flows, and ensuring infrastructure resilience across our microservices architecture.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and implement backend services in Go and Kotlin, optimized for concurrency and fault tolerance
  • Design and maintain high-throughput event-driven systems using Kafka and gRPC
  • Own the lifecycle of new features from design to deployment, including CI/CD pipeline integration
  • Lead code reviews with a focus on performance, testability, and clean architecture
  • Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers to ensure observability (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus) and automated recovery across services
  • Contribute to evolving our data schema versioning strategy (PostgreSQL, Redis, and ClickHouse)

You Should Have

  • 5+ years of experience writing production-grade code in statically typed languages (e.g., Go, Rust, or Kotlin)
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems principles: consensus, idempotency, retries, eventual consistency
  • Proven experience building horizontally scalable APIs (REST/gRPC) with strict uptime SLAs
  • Strong command of message-driven architecture and pub/sub models (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with schema evolution and backward-compatible data migrations
  • Proficiency in container-based deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) and service mesh integration (e.g., Istio or Linkerd)
  • Ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks with profiling tools (pprof, flamegraphs)
  • Familiarity with secure authentication protocols (OAuth2, mTLS)
