We are seeking a Senior Web Developer with deep technical expertise in modern web architecture, performance optimization, and cross-platform development. This is not a templated role — you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and maintainable applications for high-traffic environments, with a focus on seamless user experience and robust backend integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop complex, data-driven web applications with a focus on modularity and reusability.
  • Optimize frontend and backend performance, including lazy loading, asset bundling, and query efficiency.
  • Lead code reviews, enforce strict code standards, and mentor mid-level developers.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and production monitoring.
  • Refactor legacy systems (monolith or microservices) for better maintainability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with OWASP security standards, including CSRF, XSS, and secure authentication flows.
  • Coordinate closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect implementations.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience building web applications, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven expertise in React.js or Vue.js, with hands-on experience using Next.js, Vite, or SSR tools.
  • Proficient in TypeScript, ES6+, SCSS/Modules, and WebSockets for real-time interfaces.
  • Strong backend experience with Node.js (Express/NestJS), and familiarity with GraphQL or RESTful APIs.
  • Experience deploying to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and using Docker and Kubernetes in staging/production.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle codebase >100k lines, work with feature flags, and manage technical debt.
  • Deep understanding of accessibility (WCAG 2.1+), SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Comfortable with Git (rebases, submodules, bisect), Jira, and Agile development cycles.
