Doing what it says on the tin, the innovations team is the team pushing new ideas and innovations for LEAP Dev’s high priority projects. This team of experienced Developers are critical to ensure our ongoing success and enable us to live up to our reputation as a market leader in Legal Technology. They’re a team of proactive, creative thinkers who take pride in being technologically adaptable, skilled at troubleshooting, and using their skills to facilitate great user experiences.
What you’ll do

This team is expanding and we’re now looking for a Frontend Engineer to work on two of our products. This frontend work will be a blend of bug fixes/maintaining the product, and pushing new ideas and innovations. Your day to day might look like this:

  • Design and develop high-quality, responsive UI using React, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
  • Lead the architecture of front-end solutions, optimizing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Work closely with UX designers and back-end developers.
  • Take ownership of front-end projects, driving the technical direction and setting coding standards.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Development
  • A deep understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, along with experience in React or other modern frameworks.
  • A knack for UI/UX design principles and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, ready to work closely with back-end developers, designers and other stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in front-end development, and passion about keeping up with the latest trends and best practices.
