ob Summary

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Developer to join a team in the Information Technology industry located in Perth. This role involves designing and developing Oracle database solutions, optimizing performance, and integrating applications to meet business requirements.




Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Oracle database solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Optimize database performance and ensure system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle applications.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle database systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and implement security measures.
  • Maintain documentation for database configurations and changes.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of database upgrades and migrations.
  • Provide support for Oracle database-related queries and issues.
  • Adhere to processes and attention to service level agreements.




Expected Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Experience with Oracle database architecture and administration.
  • Strong understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Ability to design and implement complex database solutions.
  • Knowledge of Oracle tools such as Oracle Forms and Reports.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.




Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based Oracle databases.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices.
  • Experience with Oracle APEX version 23 or higher.
  • Proven experience with Oracle Forms & Reports (12c or 14c desirable).
