Key Responsibilities
- Brand Design & Development: Lead design work across brand identity, logo development, visual systems, and product design—ensuring visual excellence and strategic alignment.
- Project Leadership: Oversee design execution across multiple client projects, ensuring craft, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Mentorship & Team Growth: Provide direction and structured feedback to junior and midweight designers. Guide and inspire their growth through regular coaching and review.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present and defend creative concepts to clients and senior internal stakeholders, articulating strategic rationale and design thinking.
- Collaboration & Ideation: Partner with creative, strategy, and digital teams to co-create campaigns, products, and platforms that break through.
- Innovation & Process Improvement: Stay on the cutting edge of tools and trends (including generative AI), and bring new ways of working into the team.
Experience & Skills
- 5–7+ years experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio of brand identity, product, and logo work.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and modern design tools.
- Deep understanding of design craft—typography, layout, composition, and brand systems.
- Strong conceptual and strategic thinking with the ability to solve complex brand and visual problems.
- Proven leadership in creative environments—mentoring, critiquing, and growing others.
- A clear communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Agile, organised, and always pushing for smarter, faster ways of delivering impactful work.
- Bonus: Experience using design systems at scale or contributing to product UI/UX is a plus.
