Job Description

As Senior Art Director you will have a thirst for the fundamentals of groundbreaking design, and how great creative ideas can come to life both in the real world and through communications. You understand user experience and are a master of bringing to life ideas in a visual way for brands.

Skills And Experience

Creative

  • A design-led creative thinker who can bring to life their ideas with expert flair
  • A strategically minded creative who can leverage cultural insights, data and strategy to inform ideation
  • Ability to ideate as both an individual and in a team environment to create culturally relevant, head-turning and award-winning creative work
  • Effective mastery of leading a creative campaign from concept through to delivery. Including all touchpoints of a campaign lifecycle including strategy, art-direction, design, experience and execution
  • Ability to design eye-catching creative presentations that excite and convert brand partners
  • Understand how users interact and engage with experiences (both digital and real-world) to drive fans through the ‘purchase funnel’ through design-driven executions

Technical & Strategy

  • An expert eye for great design, working across the entirety of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and more) with advanced design-centric skills to take work from conception through to delivery
  • Creation and design of pitch presentations via Keynote, Canva (or similar) to a high standard, to tell an expertly crafted, concise and rich visual narrative around creative concepts
  • A high-level understanding of the fundamentals of great design including knowledge of compelling layouts, typography & photo manipulation to create communications that stand-out. Skills as an illustrator are a bonus
  • Accelerated ability to articulate a design-led solution for a client – including mock-ups, sketches and moodboards to an expert level
  • Ability to edit audio-visual work when required – formulating final outputs for brand campaigns
  • Working alongside external production partners in both visual mediums and experiential formats to get the best out of them, to direct them effectively and communicate your creative intent to get the best results possible for clients
  • Basic Copywriting skills to articulate ideas to presentation standard as well as basic ability to write with flair in brand campaigns
  • Working with industry leading data and insights teams to drive all of your creative strategies and concepts.
