Project Manager – Cloud Migration

Your new role

As the Project Manager – Cloud Migration, you’ll take the lead in overseeing the organisation’s transition from on-premises systems to a cloud-first environment. While a cloud vendor will handle the technical implementation, your focus will be on steering the project, ensuring governance standards are met, and keeping all stakeholders aligned and informed. You’ll coordinate internal teams, manage timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure the organisation is operationally ready for the shift.

What you’ll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring proven experience managing complex IT infrastructure or cloud migration projects. You’ll be confident working with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams, and skilled at navigating stakeholder concerns—especially around cloud security. Strong communication and change management capabilities are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes. Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies will be advantageous, along with a solid understanding of cloud platforms and project governance.
