About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead capital and operational projects at our Port Botany Terminal. This is a 2-year Max-Term contract offering the opportunity to drive infrastructure improvements and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and achievement of project objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of terminal-based infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate internal teams and external contractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Track budgets, prepare cost estimates, and manage procurement and contracts.
- Monitor contractor safety and compliance with the Building Code of Australia and DP World policies.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation, reports, and meeting records.
- Conduct performance reviews of suppliers and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and escalate issues where required.
- Ensure timely communication and progress reporting to leadership teams.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management or a similar role.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management, Asset Management, or Business (desirable).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
- Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and risk.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in logistics, terminals, or heavy industry (desirable).
- Proficiency in MS Microsoft Office Suite and project reporting.
