About the opportunity

• You will, manage databases and write software in conjunction with the Director of the Centre for Diabetes Research and other researchers.
• Contribute to development of programs for analysing genetic data via parallel programming.
• Manage, debug and improve code.

About you

• Degree qualification in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Proven ability in C/C++, Python desirable, MySQL, R, SPSS, Excel. Experience in other statistical packages is an advantage.
• Experience in Parallel Programming (MPI, XGRID, CUDA).
• Ability to analyse and interpret research data.
• Ability to learn new technology and programming languages.
