Job Description

We’re looking for a highly detail-oriented Production Artist with a deep understanding of print and digital production workflows to join our in-house creative team. This role is ideal for someone who can take layered design files and prepare them for a variety of outputs—retail packaging, POP displays, digital ads, trade show graphics, and more—without losing fidelity or consistency. You’ll be the last line of defense before anything goes live or to print, so pixel-precision, typographic rigor, and an obsession with dielines, bleeds, and color profiles are key.

You won’t be asked to conceptualize campaigns from scratch—but you will need to interpret and extend visual systems with accuracy and consistency across a range of assets, often on tight timelines. If you know your way around preflight checklists, master page systems, and RGB/CMYK translation, and if you’ve ever been complimented on your file-naming conventions, you might be exactly who we need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and finalize design files for production across print and digital formats
  • Apply style guides and visual systems to new layouts with consistency
  • Build and edit mechanical files for packaging, OOH, signage, and digital assets
  • Perform preflight checks, ensuring files meet vendor specs, color accuracy, resolution, and bleeds
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and vendors to resolve technical production issues
  • Review proofs and digital comps for accuracy and quality assurance
  • Maintain organized file structures and version control in shared drives
  • Occasionally create layout variations based on approved templates

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in production design or graphic production within an agency or in-house team
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Experience with print production, dielines, Pantone matching, and press-ready file prep
  • Strong familiarity with digital ad specs and common platform requirements (Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
  • Understanding of color management across RGB, CMYK, and spot colors
  • Highly organized with rigorous attention to detail, naming conventions, and layer cleanliness
  • Comfortable working with packaging vendors, print reps, and digital producers
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Monday, or Wrike is a plus
