Job Description

About the Role:
We’re looking for a Product Designer who thrives in ambiguity, has strong product intuition, and is comfortable designing for both net-new 0→1 experiences and high-impact optimizations. You’ll join a fast-moving cross-functional team responsible for building tools that translate complex backend logic into intuitive, user-facing workflows. This role isn’t about shipping pretty mockups — it’s about solving messy, high-stakes problems with clarity and care.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead design from discovery to delivery on features that touch critical product flows — onboarding, permissions, integrations, and more.
  • Audit and restructure legacy UI/UX patterns to reduce cognitive load in complex decision paths.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and documentation that clearly articulate interaction logic, edge cases, and implementation details.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data to validate your ideas early, even if it means testing raw sketches or micro-flows in Figma.
  • Balance speed with precision — you know when to cut scope and when to push for better.
  • Own our design system’s evolution as new requirements emerge from your work.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years of end-to-end product design experience in a tech company, ideally working on internal tools, enterprise SaaS, or technical user experiences.
  • You’ve designed for power users before — think devs, data analysts, operators — and you’re not afraid to go deep on logic-heavy interfaces.
  • A strong point of view on design decisions, backed by user understanding and willingness to defend or revise your approach when challenged.
  • You think in systems and can spot inconsistencies before engineers do.
  • You can write — not marketing fluff, but thoughtful UX copy and interface microcopy that enhances understanding without overwhelming.
  • Bonus if you’ve worked on products with heavy configuration, multi-step flows, or permissions hierarchies.

Nice to Have (but Not Required):

  • Experience working in a startup where you had to own both design vision and execution.
  • Comfort reading and lightly editing JSON, YAML, or similar formats to understand system behavior.
  • Experience with component-based design systems in Figma (Auto Layout, variants, interactive components, etc.).
