Job Description
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Product Designer who thrives in ambiguity, has an intuitive grasp of system-level thinking, and can translate complex product requirements into elegant, pragmatic designs. You’ll be joining a fast-moving cross-functional team working on our analytics platform used by Fortune 100 companies to make critical real-time decisions.
You should be opinionated about interaction design, highly collaborative, and capable of prototyping ideas rapidly—from wireframes to high-fidelity interfaces. You will work closely with engineers and PMs, shaping not only how things look, but how they behave, scale, and feel over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end design of complex user flows across our platform’s data visualization and admin configuration tools.
- Conduct research with enterprise users and distill findings into clear design directions and interaction patterns.
- Prototype and test interactions ranging from micro-level hover states to multi-step workflows across responsive layouts.
- Define, evolve, and document components in our internal design system (built with Figma + Storybook).
- Work closely with frontend engineers to ensure designs are implemented precisely, with an eye for pixel-level fidelity and behavioral nuance.
- Use tools like FullStory or Hotjar to audit current experience friction and propose high-impact improvements.
- Drive workshops with cross-functional stakeholders to align design intent with product priorities.
Required Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of product design experience, with at least 2 years in a B2B or data-heavy product environment.
- Strong portfolio with examples of complex product UX design—e.g., dashboards, workflows, admin panels, or tools with nested hierarchies.
- Proficient in Figma, including use of auto-layout, variants, and component-level design tokens.
- Hands-on experience contributing to or maintaining a scalable design system.
- Strong communication skills—able to present, defend, and evolve ideas in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Comfort with ambiguity and tight iteration loops: you can ship a testable MVP without full polish, then evolve it through feedback.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/React behavior to anticipate engineering constraints and advocate for viable solutions.
