Network Systems Administrator
Job Description
We are looking for a well-experienced Network Administrator who will manage our computer networks daily. You will be in charge of maintaining digital security and performing maintenance to ensure the system runs effectively. This role will troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritising problems and assessing impact of issues. As a Network Administrator, you will maintain our entire network infrastructure and guide our IT support staff to be updated with the latest processes.
Ideally, you will bring to the role:
- Good knowledge of Windows Technologies and Operating Systems
- Good knowledge of virtualisation technologies
- Good knowledge of Citrix XenApp, deploying and maintaining a large Citrix farm
- Good knowledge of Office 365 and other cloud services (Azure, AWS etc.)
- Sound knowledge of device management platforms
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of Storage systems
- Good knowledge of Network LAN and WAN Technologies and Operating Systems
- Good knowledge of Firewall technologies
- Good knowledge of WiFi technologies
- Knowledge of Video Conferencing systems and solutions such as Polycom and Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of VOIP technology including Call Centre configuration
To be considered for this full-time position you will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant information technology field and at least 5 years of relevant experiences.
