Logo Designer
Job Description
We’re looking for a Logo Designer with a sharp eye for visual identity and a talent for translating brand strategy into iconic marks. This role isn’t about churning out template logos—it’s about crafting symbols that carry meaning, evoke emotion, and stand the test of time. You’ll collaborate with brand strategists, creative directors, and clients who expect more than just something “clean and modern.” If you can defend a logomark down to the curve of a single vector point, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Design primary and secondary logos as part of broader brand identity systems
- Create custom typography, monograms, icons, and adaptive marks
- Conduct visual audits of existing brands to identify equity and opportunities
- Present concepts with rationale rooted in research, positioning, and design principles
- Prepare final logo files in various formats and ensure scalability and legibility across platforms
- Collaborate with motion designers for animated logo sequences when needed
- Work with naming, copy, and strategy teams to align visual identity with verbal tone
- Iterate quickly based on feedback while preserving design integrity
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in brand identity or logo design, ideally in an agency or brand studio
- A portfolio that demonstrates logo systems—not just one-offs
- Strong grasp of semiotics, typography, and geometric construction
- Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, with proficiency in Figma and Photoshop
- Experience designing responsive and variable logo systems
- Ability to explain your design decisions clearly and confidently to clients and internal teams
- Familiarity with usage guidelines, brand books, and export standards
- Bonus: Experience with motion design tools (e.g., After Effects) or 3D modeling for dimensional logos
