About the Role

As a Level 2 IT Technician, you’ll tackle more complex IT challenges, support our MSP clients with proactive solutions, and provide expert break/fix services both in-store at our Albany location and on-site. This role is perfect for an experienced technician who thrives on variety and wants to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve advanced hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Manage MSP tasks, including server maintenance, network configurations, and cybersecurity measures.
  • Perform complex break/fix repairs, including data recovery and system optimizations.
  • Support clients with cloud solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure) and virtualization.
  • Mentor Level 1 technicians and escalate issues when needed.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for client systems and support tickets.
  • Build strong client relationships through professional on-site and remote support.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, ideally in an MSP or break/fix environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Entra, Active Directory, and networking.
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and backup solutions.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license for on-site client visits across the region.
  • Great communication skills and a proactive, client-focused mindset.
