About you

Reporting directly to the IT Manager, you will work on both front-end and bank-end development, building dynamic web applications and APIs.  This role involves working with both Vue.js and Node.js.

A day in the life

As a Software Developer, your daily tasks may include:

  • Building front-end applications with Vue.js / Nuxt.
  • Building and maintaining back-end APIs with Node.js and Express.
  • Collaborating with the team to implement features and improvements. 
  • Writing clean, reusable code and performing debugging. 
  • Participating in code reviews and ensuring high code quality. 

An ideal addition to the #GhandaGang will have:

  • 0 – 2+ years of experience with Vue.js and Node.js
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Git
  • Basic knowledge of API development and integration

and while these aren’t deal-breakers, it would also be nice to have:

  • Experience with other frameworks (e.g., React or Angular)
  • Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS)
  • Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
