Job Description

Responsibilities

• Effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure
• Enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
• Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, log management and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and Business Partners.
• Ensure the quality, responsiveness, and performance of Pippin’s web applications
• Collaborate with other software developers and QA personnel
  

Must Have Skills

• Must have experience in deploying Servers in a virtual cloud network
• Must have hands on knowledge of DevOps and Agile
• Experience with continuous integration deployments
• Experience with Amazon AWS services and/or Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge in one or more Scripting tools – Bash, JavaScript, Python, Perl or Ruby
• Knowledge in one or more DevOps tools – Gitlab, Kubernetes, Containers etc.
• Knowledge in one or more Automation tools – Chef, Circle CI, Jenkins, Code Deploy and Puppet
• Knowledge in one or more monitoring tools – Nagios, Grafana, CloudWatch App Dynamic, Datadog or Prometheus
• Experience with version control and open-source practices.
  

Need to Have

• Great communication skills (written and spoken in English)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or the equivalent demonstrated experience
