Job Description

We’re looking for an IT Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment supporting hybrid systems and a diverse user base. This role isn’t just about fixing computers – you’ll be embedded in both the day-to-day operations and long-term infrastructure upgrades. You’ll assist with device lifecycle management, respond to Tier 1 and 2 tickets, and act as the first line of defense against system outages. The ideal candidate will be as comfortable re-imaging laptops at scale as they are tracing intermittent connectivity issues in a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support for Windows and macOS systems, including imaging, patching, and endpoint security configurations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile devices.
  • Administer Office 365 and Active Directory user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
  • Support conference room setups (Zoom, Teams, HDMI, AV routing) and manage troubleshooting during live sessions.
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking through the company’s IT asset management system.
  • Respond to and close service tickets promptly, documenting steps taken and resolution thoroughly.
  • Assist with the deployment and maintenance of network devices including switches, access points, and VoIP phones.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles for recurring issues and processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of direct IT support experience in a mid-size or enterprise environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 admin tools, and basic PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, JAMF, or similar).
  • Familiarity with basic networking (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS) and ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Comfortable lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs) and working in server/network closets as needed.
