Job Description

We’re looking for an Interactive Designer who sees interfaces as more than just layouts—they’re dynamic systems that shape how users think, feel, and act. This role is not about pushing pixels. You’ll be crafting layered experiences that respond, adapt, and guide—whether through subtle motion, tactile transitions, or moments of unexpected delight.

You’ll partner closely with product managers, UX researchers, content strategists, and front-end developers to translate behavioral insights into interactive systems that are purposeful and elegant. From early prototyping to final implementation, you’ll push the limits of what’s possible in a browser, always with the user’s needs at the core.

Responsibilities:

  • Design responsive, interactive interfaces with a focus on behavior, transitions, and user feedback.
  • Build low-to-high fidelity prototypes that demonstrate microinteractions, motion, and conditional flows.
  • Collaborate with engineers to define animation specs, state changes, and interactivity in design system components.
  • Translate complex data sets and behaviors into intuitive, interactive visual formats.
  • Partner with UX researchers to validate hypotheses and evolve interaction patterns based on testing.
  • Propose improvements to existing interaction paradigms and advocate for systems thinking across products.
  • Document interaction logic and rationale for cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Work within Figma, Framer, and Webflow (or comparable tools) to create both explorations and production-ready specs.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience designing interactive digital products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end process and motion thinking.
  • Deep familiarity with interactive behaviors across platforms (web, mobile, touch interfaces).
  • Demonstrated expertise in motion design principles (timing, easing, feedback, spatial continuity).
  • Proficiency with prototyping tools like Framer, Principle, ProtoPie, or advanced use of Figma’s prototyping capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of front-end development capabilities (HTML/CSS/JS basics, animation libraries, component-based systems).
  • Ability to present and articulate interaction decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working within and evolving a design system with a focus on motion and responsiveness.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, with the ability to structure explorations around real user behavior.
