About the Role:

As a Senior SAP BTP Developer, you’ll be a hands-on technical leader responsible for:

Cloud-Native Development & Extensibility

  • Architect and build scalable applications using SAP CAP (Node.js or Java) and SAP HANA Cloud.
  • Design secure OData and REST APIs for front-end apps like SAP Fiori/UI5 and mobile solutions.
  • Leverage BTP services (Event Mesh, Workflow Management) for event-driven processes.

Enterprise Integration

  • Develop and manage iFlows using SAP Integration Suite (CPI) to connect SAP S/4HANA and other systems.
  • Implement advanced integration patterns with robust security (OAuth, certificates).

Technical Leadership

  • Act as SME for BTP best practices and security standards.
  • Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and BTP Cockpit.

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years in SAP development, including 3+ years on SAP BTP.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Led at least two full-cycle BTP implementation projects.
  • Expertise in SAP CAP and SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
  • Proficiency in Node.js/Java and SAP HANA Cloud.
  • SAP Certified Development Specialist – SAP BTP Extensions (or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and BTP Mobile Services.
  • Front-end experience (SAP Fiori/UI5, React, Angular). Advantageous
  • Integration with AI/ML capabilities (SAP AI Core). Advantageous
