Job Summary:
Do you enjoy solving technical and creative problems within Houdini? We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Effects Artists to create high-quality visual effects for our upcoming animated feature films.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and create a range of visually interesting and high quality effects.
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments, and work with your FX supervisor to produce effects and shots.
- Utilize the powerful tools available in Houdini and from the Netflix Animation Studio pipeline to improve efficiency and quality.
- Use your problem solving skills to fix issues and solve creative challenges.
- Collaborate with grace, humility, inclusion, and open-mindedness.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience as an Effects Artist in animation or visual effects.
- Proficiency in Houdini.
- Strong understanding of particle systems, dynamics, and simulations.
- Excellent artistic skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio showcasing your FX work in animation or related fields.
- Excellent verbal, written, and e-social communication skills.
