About The Role:

Reporting to your Technical Lead, this role will be responsible for delivering high-quality software across the Rosterfy stack as part of a growing SaaS engineering team. You’ll contribute to the evolution of our platform architecture, influence engineering practices, and ship features that support some of the world’s largest volunteer programs.

You’ll play a key role in our transition to a principle-led, product-focused engineering model — with a strong emphasis on scalability, quality, documentation, and collaboration. This is a senior-level role requiring demonstrated experience in SaaS, cloud-native environments, and modern software development practices. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you’re comfortable transitioning between front and back end development using your systems thinking skills to create world class experiences for our customers.

What You’ll Do

As a Full Stack Senior Engineer you will:

  • Design and deliver scalable features with Laravel, PHP, React/Next.js, and AWS
  • Build APIs and reusable components in a multi-region SaaS environment
  • Collaborate with QA, Product, and Design for customer-focused solutions
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing, and system performance
  • Contribute to evolving our architecture (modular monolith and beyond)
  • Champion compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2), accessibility, and localisation
  • Mentor and set a high bar for quality and documentation

What You Bring

  • Front and Back end Engineering expertise.
  • 4+ years building SaaS products end-to-end, ideally across multiple regions
  • Strength in Laravel (or modern PHP frameworks) plus React/Next.js (or Vue)
  • Experience with ISO/SOC2 standards and secure engineering practices
  • Knowledge of modular architectures, event-driven systems
  • Skilled in relational databases (Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Cloud-native experience (AWS, CI/CD, observability)
