About the opportunity

We are looking to recruit new Engineers to join our team in contract positions. In these critical roles, you will help design and implement solutions across a variety of different engagements and clients. The initial engagement will be working on one of our largest and fastest growing clients, a world renowned brand and while the role will be varied, some of the activities that you will be doing day-to-day will be:

Work on sprint-based Agile projects

Be a part of our Delivery Team, working with our existing cross-functional team of developers and designers to produce quality output

Develop and maintain new and existing web applications and API’s

Actively engage with clients to assess challenges and translate business needs into technical requirements.

Continuously look at ways to refine and improve our approach to digital technology and ensure our development process complies with the highest quality, accessibility, and security standards.

About You

While we don’t limit ourselves by defining one particular background that would be right for this role, we do need you to be able to demonstrate experience and/or transferable skills across the following key areas:

Strong understanding of foundational web technologies (HTML, CSS and JavaScript)

Solid experience working with React using TypeScript

Familiarity with Next.js or equivalent full-stack JavaScript framework

Experience writing automated tests

Experience with Storybook and Chromatic

Experience working with headless CMS systems

Experience integrating with API’s and querying data using GraphQL
