Job Description

About the Role

We’re seeking a Front End Developer who thrives on building consistent, component-driven interfaces in React. This role is for someone who understands the discipline of design systems, knows how to bridge design and engineering, and has experience delivering performant interfaces in a collaborative Agile environment. You’ll work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to build a platform used by Fortune 100 clients.

Core Responsibilities

  • Translate Figma component libraries into reusable, accessible React components
  • Maintain and evolve our internal design system (built with Storybook and Tailwind CSS)
  • Optimize front-end performance through code splitting, lazy loading, and semantic HTML
  • Implement interactive features such as drag-and-drop interfaces, inline editing, and advanced filtering using modern state management approaches
  • Review pull requests with an emphasis on accessibility, semantic structure, and long-term maintainability
  • Act as liaison between designers and developers to ensure pixel-accuracy, functional parity, and performance goals
  • Contribute to front-end test coverage using Jest and React Testing Library

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional front-end development experience, with a portfolio of production-level React applications
  • Strong command of React (including hooks and context API), TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining a design system using Storybook or similar tools
  • Clear understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), semantic HTML, and keyboard navigation
  • Proficient with Git workflows, pull request reviews, and feature branching
  • Experience consuming REST and GraphQL APIs and handling error states and loading indicators gracefully
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and how front-end fits into automated testing and deployments
  • Can clearly articulate trade-offs between performance, readability, and scalability in a code review or architecture discussion

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Framer Motion or GSAP for interface animation
  • Contributions to an open-source component library or design system
  • Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture and module federation
