Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer with hands-on experience in building scalable enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments. This role is focused on modernizing legacy components and building new service-driven backend systems that integrate with both internal and external APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core (minimum version 6.0) and Entity Framework Core.
  • Design and implement loosely coupled microservices hosted in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Optimize SQL Server queries and design normalized schemas for transactional systems.
  • Implement automated unit tests (xUnit/NUnit) and ensure test coverage for critical components.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate build and deployment using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Integrate with third-party systems using secure OAuth2.0 or API key mechanisms.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core.
  • Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and SOLID principles.
  • Experience with Azure Services: App Services, Key Vault, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Service Bus.
  • Proficiency with Docker and container orchestration in AKS or Kubernetes.
  • Solid grasp of Git, branching strategies, and pull request-based workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including complex joins, indexing strategies, and stored procedures.
  • Experience with message-based architecture (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and consume OpenAPI/Swagger-documented APIs.
