Designer Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled  Designer Specialist to support the setup and optimization of our electronic data capture (eDC) system. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the Designer module , including adapting global libraries, building study structures, and programming edit checks and custom functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the Designer module in Medidata Rave eDC to adapt and enhance existing global libraries
• Create and modify data objects, shapes, and activity datasets based on study requirements
• Define and manage Study Structure, including Schedule of Activities (SoA)
• Program standard edit checks to ensure data integrity and compliance
• Develop and implement Custom Functions (CF) for study-specific needs
• Build and manage activity datasets aligned with study protocols
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, data management, etc.)
• Provide troubleshooting and ongoing support for the Designer module

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience with Medidata Rave eDC (Designer Module)
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and eDC systems
• Experience with:

-Study structure setup (SoA, datasets, codelists)

-Data objects and shapes creation

-Edit checks and derivations

• Solid experience developing Custom Functions (CF)
• Familiarity with CDISC standards and Controlled Terminology
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of clinical data regulatory requirements
• Experience working in a global or multi-study environment
