Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and define information security requirements for systems, applications, and networks.
- Design, implement, and review secure architectures and protocols to protect assets and data.
- Manage and monitor compliance with internal and external information management policies.
- Plan and execute cyber defence testing, including vulnerability assessments and incident simulations.
- Respond to cybersecurity threats and provide actionable recommendations for remediation and improvement.
- Advise clients on evolving security trends, standards, and technologies to maintain robust defences.
Guiding SFIA Skills
- Requirements Definition and Management (REQM): Eliciting and managing security requirements across the system lifecycle.
- Information Management (IRMG): Overseeing information assets to ensure security, compliance, and alignment with organisational goals.
- System Design (DESN): Designing secure systems and architectures that meet business and technical needs.
- Testing (TEST): Planning and executing security and assurance testing for cyber resilience.
- Consultancy (CNSL): Providing specialised advice on cybersecurity best practices, policy, and incident response.
