Job Description
Overview:
We’re looking for a Creative Director who does more than approve mood boards and guide typography. You will shape narratives that elevate the brand beyond aesthetics—someone who sees concept as code, copy as architecture, and design as systems thinking. This role demands deep fluency across brand identity, campaign development, experiential design, and digital storytelling. If you can translate abstract business goals into breakthrough creative that cuts through noise and drives engagement, we want to talk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the brand’s creative ecosystem—visually, verbally, experientially.
- Develop and execute integrated campaigns that balance high-level concept with strategic clarity.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams (designers, copywriters, producers, UX) in the development of creative assets for product launches, brand initiatives, and marketing campaigns.
- Partner with Strategy, Marketing, and Product to translate customer insights and data into emotionally resonant creative work.
- Review and critique work with clarity, empathy, and decisiveness; elevate average ideas and push great ones further.
- Serve as the final steward of visual and verbal brand consistency across all media channels.
- Forecast creative trends and translate cultural signals into opportunities for brand relevance.
- Present to executive stakeholders and defend work with clarity, conviction, and strategic grounding.
Qualifications:
- 8–12 years of progressive creative experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role guiding integrated teams.
- Proven success creating brand platforms, not just campaigns; experience launching brands or leading major rebrands is a plus.
- Portfolio that shows systems thinking, strong visual sensibility, and concept-driven campaigns that solve real business problems.
- Deep expertise in creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Miro, etc.)—not just usage, but directing their use across teams.
- Strong copy sensibility; not required to write copy but must be able to direct narrative flow and tone.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity; thrives in high-autonomy, low-ego environments.
- Experience in industries where differentiation is difficult (e.g., fintech, SaaS, consumer tech, wellness) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills—can lead a room without dominating it.
