Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Develop and support a globally distributed software landscape for the production and service of high-tech instruments.
- Collaborate with production and service managers to analyze problems and find advanced software solutions.
- Work in a Scrum team to develop solutions using C#, .NET (core), Windows and Linux.
- Provide 2nd level support and organize independent testing sessions on site.
- Ensure the monitoring and operation of the running system in cooperation with the IT department.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with over five years of experience in software engineering, particularly in developing and maintaining complex software systems.
- Demonstrating strong proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework, with hands-on experience in object-oriented software design, automated testing, deployment, and tools like GitHub and Artifactory.
- Knowledge of network technologies such as firewalls and DMZ is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of image processing is an added advantage.
- Enthusiastic about automation and cutting-edge industrial technologies, including Smart Factory and IoT, with a proactive approach to driving innovation and operational efficiency.
- Values open communication across disciplines and teams, is fluent in English for effective collaboration with European colleagues, and brings experience working with culturally diverse teams outside of Asia.
- Known for self-initiative, analytical thinking, and reliability, with a willingness to travel for work and contribute actively to team success.
