About the Role:
We are seeking a Backend Developer who excels in building scalable, robust, and high-performance backend systems. You’ll play a critical role in architecting and maintaining infrastructure that serves millions of requests daily, ensuring seamless integration across services while upholding security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Node.js/Python/Go (specify based on your tech stack).
  • Optimize database performance and scalability, working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs with an emphasis on clean design and scalability.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, ensuring frequent and reliable deployments.
  • Ensure backend systems are secure by design, conducting regular code reviews and security audits.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues under tight deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver features end-to-end.
  • Advocate for and implement best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining backend systems at scale.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go, Java) and familiarity with others.
  • Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases with practical experience in query optimization.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Proven track record of implementing distributed systems and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Solid grasp of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow).
  • Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive test suites using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or PyTest.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, including authentication/authorization, data encryption, and secure API design.
