Job Description

We are looking for a talented Appian Developer to join our team and support the design, development, and implementation of business process management (BPM) solutions using the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable applications in Appian, a solid understanding of process modeling, and strong problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Appian SAIL, integrations, and relational databases is highly desirable.

Positional Overview –

  • 5-7 years of relevant Appian experience. The role is focused on supporting Appian applications.
  • Proven experience as a Technical or System Analyst with expertise in Appian SaaS as a developer.
  • Excellent SQL skills are highly preferable
  • Appian AI Skills/GenAI experience will be an absolute bonus!
  • Working knowledge in Java
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to support the applications

Professional Experience:

  • Appian experience or equivalent business workflow experience is a must have
  • Liaise and collaborate with external teams as required, ability to assess impact of dependency and delay in dependency
  • Ability to have calm, mature conversations.
  • Ability to build a backlog epic and stories
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills and establish working relationships with the product owner and other interfacing teams.
  • Foster an environment that promotes psychological safety, continuous improvement, and effective risk management
  • Contribute to capturing and managing RAID for the initiative.
  • Has worked on tech delivery end to end. Ability to clearly document the functional as well as technical Requirements – act as the bridge between the Business and Developers
  • Have worked on API integration
  • Excellent understanding of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio etc
