Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal and administrative support to the litigation team
  • Maintain comprehensive tracker of all litigation matters
  • Handle small legal claims that may have been escalated to Legal;
  • Assist with requests from third parties, including requests for information;
  • Assist with reporting of litigations to internal stakeholders
  • Assist the team with onboarding external counsels (drafting letters of engagements, managing costs and budgeting of matters, reviewing bills etc.) 
  • Support on various aspects of litigation cases, including discovery and data production, preparing witness evidence and liaising with external counsels  
  • Lead and/or support wider projects for the litigation team to improve team efficiency

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Law Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent legal qualification required, in a common law jurisdiction (preference for England & Wales, but other common law jurisdictions will be considered)
  • Previous experience in legal role highly desirable 
  • Strong attention to detail and a need for rigor and reliability
  • Proactive and a self-starter. Must be able to move with agility in a fast-paced and fast-evolving environment
  • A high level of autonomy is required for the role. Proven experience in handling your own workload will be preferred.
  • Hands-on and capable of independently managing multiple projects as necessary
