About the role  
  

We’re looking for aSenior Marketing Cloud Journey Designer to join our cross-functional Customer Transformation (Clocktower) Project Squads. The Senior Marketing Cloud Journey Designer will design, build and optimise personalised, multi-channel customer journeys that transform how we communicate with our customers. 
 
You’ll join an innovative MarTech Solutions team, who are collaborative, customer-obsessed and passionate about reimagining digital engagement. 
 
As our Senior Marketing Cloud Journey Designer, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work. 

  

Day-to-day, you will:  
  

  • Partner cross-functionally to capture requirements, identify pain points and design optimised campaigns and journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud 
  • Build, test, and deploy complex multi-channel customer journeys, including decision splits, A/B testing, reporting and optimisation 
  • Host stakeholder workshops and ideation sessions to shape journey backlogs and explore new initiatives 
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of campaigns – from design and build through to reporting and insights 
  • Support governance and testing programs to ensure accuracy, compliance and best practice in customer communications  

 
  

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:  
  

  • Strong communication and consulting skills – ability to engage, influence and educate stakeholders at all levels 
  • 5+ years’ experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud journey design, build and optimisation 
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into actionable campaigns and reporting packs 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and ability to think big picture 
  • Technical capability with tools such as SQL, Data Design, AMP script, HTML/CSS or related platforms (highly regarded)
